Great Storm of 1703 shipwreck assessed

HMS Northumberland naval ship site assessment reveals well preserved vessel. The 70-gun vessel was built in 1679. Cannon, part of a gun carriage and copper cauldrons are some of the fascinating artifacts being studied. Archaeologists are attempting to document what they can before the ship is once again is taken by the sea.
